History, Aims & Objectives

Assirm was formed in 1991 by 14 MR agencies.

Assirm key objectives are: representation of members interests, exchange of information among members,
promotion of research culture, promotion of research codes of conduct and quality standards, relationship
whit public institutions and professional associations.

Membership

There are currently 39 corporate members of ASSIRM.

To qualify for membership an agency must offer, a wide range of market research services and must obtain
a certificate of accreditation to ISO 9000, according to ASSIRM Quality standards

Codes & Standards

o  ICC/ESOMAR International Code of Marketing and Social Research Practice. Adherence to this code is mandatory

o  Adherence to the ASSIRM Code of Ethics and ASSIRM Quality standards

o  Accreditation to ISO 9000

Conferences, Courses & Activities

ASSIRM provides a forum for the exchange of information among members, and organizes work teams on topics of common interest.

Organisation and participation in professionally run technical meetings and seminars on research and marketing. Assirm newly formed a Centre for Studies and Education directed by A.Claudio Bosio.

Osservatorio ASSIRM - presentation of results and perspective of RM

Assirm courses for costumers and internal professionals.
